Uploading Mov file - not syncing

Hello 🙂

 

I have shot a video with my iPhone 15, and it seems that it's not possible to sync, as syncing appears to be ongoing for over a day that I shot the video.

 

The video file is 467MB, and I even exported it as MP4 (size increased to 777MB) on my computer (using iPhotos to get it on my Mac first, adding it to my Lightroom library and then exporting it as MP4) and tried to add it to my Lightroom library, but still not able to sync. 

 

It is rather strange, as previous Mov files shot with an iPhone synced fine and backed up, but this time it seems impossible.

 

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

    I haven't tried to reproduce this yet, but I will, and will log a bug upon validating steps/results.

     

    In the meantime, since you have access to a Mac, try uploading your original video using the Lightroom web app at https://lightroom.adobe.com/  -- it's so easy to drag and drop many images and video to your account, even to a specific album.  I have copied whole SD cards full of media into my LR account this way.

     

    I'll follow up upon learning anything significant about the current LR iOS experience.

    I did try the LR web app, and I was able to upload the video file with no issues. That was the only way to upload it and it's rather strange as to why it wouldn't sync via the iOS and macOS LR apps. The video was shot using my iPhone 15, and in the past I never experienced such an issue with previous iPhones.
