Uploading photos to lightroom

So whenever I insert my SD card inside my computer and try to import photos in LR CC or LR, it says on the CC version that some photos are suspected duplicates? So these photos are grayed out and I cannot click on them to import. On LR, whenever I try to import into a new album, it says I have "insufficent disk space". I'm not sure on what steps to need to take to get these on LR since I am trying to create a web gallery for a client but this issue is keeping me from color grading.
