Hi can I set the background color (white) to black for the upright transformations?

Correct answer Aleke

Hi @Sandro Moro!

Are you referring to the checkered pattern showing up in your photo? If so, that pattern isn’t actually white—it’s just a visual indicator for transparency. When you export the image as a JPG (or another format that doesn’t support transparency), it will automatically fill that area with white.

If you’d like to keep the transparent background, try exporting as a PNG. Then, you can open it in Photoshop and add a solid background color of your choice.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Alek

Thank you @Aleke. It's what I'm forced to do, but it definitively slowers the workflow (massive document repro). The possibility to user-define a background color would be expected in a professional product like LrC...
