Are you by any chance using Mac OS 13 or below. Lightroom now only supports Mac OS14 and above.

You cannot fix it apart from upgrading the OS.

If you cannot do this try installing version 3.4 via 'other versions' in the Creative Cloud app (which appear via the three dot menu)
