User presets will NOT sync to LR mobile

Im so fed up. For months now Ive been trying to get my presets to sync to LR mobile from the CC desktop application. It does not work. Julianne Kost wrote a blog about doing this. I replied with many others that it doesnt work and the pathetic response we got was to start a forum. She couldn't simply have someone figure out why it wouldn't work, she just brushed it off.

I like to edit on my iPad. I like my presets. I cannot use them. I have a full CC membership, and have current software on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, and MacBook and it still does not work on any device I own.

Get it together Adobe. Anyone have any ideas?

There are several threads on here for other people with this exact issue. I don't think anybody figured out why it wasn't working. Only fix that was found if I remember correctly was to completely erase the entire cloud catalog and start anew. That is a very drastic measure indeed and something that needs quite a bit of planning to not lose any images. Also another thing that trips people up is that the presets will only sync if they are imported using the in the GUI method in the preset browser (or created manually inside LR CC) and not when you copy them into the preset folder manually.

Thanks. I didnt see any of the other threads. I won’t be redoing everything. Hopefully they will find a solution soon.

You might try removing all custom profiles from your lightroom CC desktop installation, letting it sync completely, quitting lightroom CC and reopening it and re-adding them one by one.
