Using cloud-based Lightroom simply to share photo collection organization with client

Any photographers use the cloud-based version of Lightroom just to catalog and organize a shared photo collection? I am only familiar with the desktop version.

Asking because I I have a project where I will be editing a photo collection for someone. And by "editing" I mean culling / choosing best photos and organizing them by keywords or ratings, folders, etc.

Also - Will my client have to pay to access (and help organize) this online catalog?

Any photo manipulation or color correction will happen later - on desktop only. This online version is purely for purposes of online sharing a photo collection, organizing it, and allowing the client to see (and participate in) the organization. Thanks in advance!
