Question

Using Lightroom Cloud and My Edit Data is Missing

I am using hte most updated version of Lightroom Cloud, I edited an image last night and just as it finished the export or just after it locked up and I had to force quit. Today I went to work on the edit at work but it hadn't synced I figured it just didn't get a chance to full upload the edit before crashing, but when I got home the picture didn't have any editing anymore. Its not in the deleted folder and if I look on another device it shows the alert that there are edits waiting to sync. I've tried restarting both PC and Lightroom itself to no avail.

So is my edit just lost? Will it just sync back up randomly?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hey, @Flagship25896937sbz2. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out if you still need help.

A number of masks can slow down syncing, so if you still have the issue, you can apply a small edit to the image in question on your home(?) device, and it should trigger the sync to the cloud. You can confirm if the image is synced up to the cloud by signing in to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4ok9J3B); what is on the cloud should appear on all Lightroom surfaces.

Thanks!
