V Slow Jpeg Export

Hi All,

This is probably more that i dont know what I'm doing.

Im using Lightroom Mobile on a 2021 Ipad Pro 12.9. Import into Lightroom is great, but exporting JPEGS in bulk (upto 100 images) is painfully slow as it 'downloads the original' each time. I'm talking probably over 1 hour.

I have switched off Smart Previews as i have the space on my iPad to store the originals. But during the export process nothing has changed it still downloads the original each time.

Am I missing something?

Switching off Smart Previews doesn't mean that the originals will be automatically downloaded if they are currently stored only in the cloud and not on the device. Nothing changes initially, so what you could do is force the originals to be downloaded in advance of when you plan to use them and export them......you can do that on a per album basis by tapping on the tri-dot icon for an individual album and selecting the "Store Locally" option. If the "Only download Smart Previews" option has been disabled, using the "Store Locally" option downloads the originals.
