Can I put a watermark on my photo's whit Lightroom in the Macbook version. I understood it was only possible on the desktop version?

What exactly are you calling "Macbook version" and "Desktop version"?

Currently, there is 3 different products called Lightroom:

- Lightroom Classic : Run on Windows or MacOS, and access photo stored locally on the computer, and doesn't need the cloud.

- Lightroom : Run on Windows or MacOS, but use the Adobe cloud to store the photo. It has less functionality than Lightroom Classic

- Lightroom mobile : to be used on mobile devices (tablet or smartphone) to access photos in the Adobe Cloud.

 

Which of these products are you talking about?

    I use Lightroom the one that uses the cloud.

    Lightroom (Cloud Based) Desktop can be installed on iMacs, Mac Pros and Mac Laptops.

     

    Lightroom Mobile is for phones and tablets (Android and iOS)

     

    Currently, there is no watermarking feature in Lightroom Desktop but a basic one in Lightroom Mobile.

     

    Watermaking can be done in Lightroom Classic which can be installed on the same machines as Lightroom (Cloud) Desktop.
