What device works best: tablet running Android or Microsoft Surface Pro 11

Any thoughts on what works best to store and edit photo's when travelling, a tablet running Android or a Microsoft Surface Pro 11? I am using Lightroom on my (android) cell phone, and know it works OK. I also use Lightroom on a Windows laptop, and that (of course) works OK too. Only, I consider my laptop to bulky. I am curious what your experiences are with either device.

Hey, @Jan Maarten_Gaasbeek1964. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll clarify this for you.

On the Storage front, all Lightroom surfaces will upload full-size images to the cloud. This means that while traveling, a phone can be used to upload images and edit them when you return. For editing, the feature set on Lightroom on Mobile is consistent with what you'll find on Lightroom on an Android tablet. The UI is scaled better to fit the larger screen's comfort and usability.

I hope this helps.

Thanks!

Don't get the Android tablet. Lightroom on Android is terrible. I had an old iPad pro and 'upgraded' to a new android tablet. Turned out Lightroom on ipados and android is way different. The navigation is terrible, there's no way to filter photos and UI is just scaled up mobile interface. Get an iPad or full-fledged surface.
