What's wrong with Lightroom?

I have a project that needs to be in by friday and need to edit a Lot of photos but everytime i open the app it displays the same message 

"Lightroom has encountered a problem and needs to be restarted." I've restarted it 7000 times and have got the same message over and over.

I have updated my computer, cleaned all my adobe files, uninstalled it even tried it on a windows (i'm originally on macbook air) and it still shows this message. the message started showing up after i updated it but prior to that i was having another problem where i couldn't upload or edit any of my photos. 

Can someone please help me?!
