When Editing photos from IPhone, how to keep all picture info, such as location, date, face, etc..?

Face recognition is app-specific. What Lightroom recognizes is not readable by the native iOS Photos app and vice versa. GPS info will be retained if you use 'Export as' in Lightroom, and then go to 'More Options' in the share sheet. There you can specify which metadata should be included, and Location info is one of those (turned off by default, I believe).

Please explain your question in more detail. Editing should not do anything to that info.

When I upload photos taken on my iPhone to Lightroom, edit them, and then save them back to my iPhone, I notice that some of the original data and information, such as location (GPS data) and face recognition, is lost. I’m not sure if there’s a way to preserve this information in Lightroom, or if it can only be retained when using the native iOS Photos app.
