when i use the cropping the photo crop on square and custom aspect but i cropped it in 2:3 ratio already restart my mac

Issue:
Lightroom resets 2:3 crops to square. 

 

Steps to reproduce: 

 

  1. Crop a photo to a 2:3 aspect ratio. 

  2. Move to the next photo. 

  3. Go back to the first photo. 

Result:
The photo automatically changes to a square crop. Restarting my Mac does not fix the issue. 

 

Expected result:
The photo should stay at a 2:3 aspect ratio.

    Hey, @Melodic_fierceness8f4a. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll clarify this for you.


    Crop is applied to each image, and isn't supposed to remember the last used state when selecting other images. At the beginning of your workflow, you can apply the desired crop on one of your images, copy it, and paste it to the rest of the images. After this, opening any of the pasted images will have the same ratio selected, which you can adjust and frame later.
