Where is the Swipe Function to Reject/Select?

I’m struggling to find the option to mark or reject photos the easy way.

Sure, I can open it and then select what I need from the bottom of the page but there used to be another easier way

Adobe describes a swipe up and down on the help pages to either select or reject a photo.

I even remember having used this in the past.

But no matter how much I swipe there is no reject/select appearing.

Has this function been removed?
