Question

Whole system hangs after a slightest change

Are you mining on my PC? I understand that you are running some AI model locally to make image processing, but why it is running the whole time my image is open. By default, it occupies around a half my GPU memory, around 6Gb. But when I do anything, even just change Contrast, for example, I have my GPU memory using 80% capacity, and I guess there are some other operations. Maybe the model is too big for my GPU memory, and it is being constantly moved back and forth between GPU and RAM, because of that my PC simply stops rendering UI.

Why do you even need to use AI for such simple things? You forgot how to do image processing without AI?

I can do the same changes on my Mobile without any problem. Why I have no problems there? Because it is running in cloud instead? Can I refuse running it locally on my PC?

Hey, @aleksandr_8552. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system info from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

Does this happen after a series of steps? Test some variables like:

  • Temporarily, unplug extra displays & only keep one active at a time.

Head here to check if one of the errors matches what you see: https://adobe.ly/3VfIdHK

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
