Why are deleted photos showing on other devices?

My normally workflow is to load my raw files in to LR CC on my desktop. This uploads them to the Cloud and i can see them on my ipad and iphone. All good (well its not, but it works ).

I can edit and the adjustments are synced back to other devices after a while.

Now, if i delete any files from within LR CC on my ipad or iPhone i get a message warning me all instances of this image will be deleted off all devices. Well, that what I want, but its not happening. I have to delete the same files off each of the other devices  manually.

Am I expecting soemthing that I shouldn’? I assume because there is a warning that if i ok it this is what ill get.

Getting more and more frustrated with this, and I’m paying for it.
