Why can't Lightroom just open a previously added image?
It is maddening that Lightroom simply will not open a previously added image. All that happens is a message: Previously Added. As if the function of Lightroom is purely to add, rather than edit images.
Lightroom knows where the image is in its Library. JUST OPEN IT!
Instead, what a user has to do is figure out the date, navigate into the Lightroom Library, select the year, select the month, select the day, and then find the image. The user might have dozens if not hundreds of similar images. FIVE MINUTES to find the image and open it.
When Lightroom could JUST OPEN the image. It knows where the image is. JUST OPEN IT.
