Why do my photos export so slow on the m5 mac? it was faster on my 10 year old macbook

Go to Help > System info, copy and paste it into a text document, then upload and attach it here along with a few screenshots or a short video. What troubleshooting steps have you tried already? Do you know if this happens with a specific set of images with a specific set of edits?
