Why does Adobe Lightroom keep freezing? I have a 7800x3D with 7800XT, 64GB DDR5 RAM and its constantly freezing and crashing? Did you guys vibe code this program?

Everytime I try to use ‘Denoise’ on multiple photos, it works. Then i try to view those photos and i get hit with this message ‘Some AI settings need to be updated...’ click ‘Update All’ and NOTHING works.

      Hi ​@robert_1227,

       

      I understand how frustrating this is, especially with that level of hardware. Let’s try a targeted fix first:

      • Close Lightroom

      • Go to the following folders and delete everything inside the ModelZoo folder:

      • C:\Users<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\ModelZoo
      • C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\ModelZoo
      • C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom CC\Resources

      • Relaunch Lightroom

      • Try Update All again

       

      If it still fails, please share a screen recording showing:

      • Denoise applied

      • The “Update All” behavior

      • The freezing/crash
        ​​​​​​​

      Also, please confirm whether Lightroom fully crashes (with Adobe Lightroom Crash Reporter) or goes into a Not Responding/freeze state.

       

      Additionally, please copy & paste: Help > System Info

       

      We’ll take it forward based on what we see.
