Why lightroom force me to upload my photos to cloud?
Beofre i could use matching styles for my photos on local and now its blocked for photos on local. Its allowed only for photos in cloud.
Its extortion, coercion!

This feature used to work without cloud uploads.

Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)?

If Lightroom Classic, you are not forced to do any such upload. If Lightroom, the default mode of operation is to upload photos to the cloud.

It’s not extortion, coercion. You have a choice, you may have made the wrong choice.

    Lightroom.

Until recently, I could use community suggestions to edit photos, and it worked with local files. Since one of the updates, this is no longer possible, and the app says that if I want to use this feature, I have to upload the files to the cloud.

So I’m paying, losing a feature, and being forced to upload files to a cloud that has 20 GB, while I have seven 1-terabyte drives.

I think you are mistaken about this.

How will community suggestions work if the photos are only local to your computer? Only you can see them there. Right? They have to be online, in the cloud, so others can see them.
