Why is Adobe misleading with its subscriptions?

  • I feel like Adobe has nothing else in mind but money. When I made a subscription for adobe lightroom, photoshop etc I thought it would be monthly subscription but turns out i have to pay for it whole year and if I want to cancel it, they will charge me half years subscription. I made same mistake about five years ago when I last used adobe's tools but I had forgotten it and made the same mistake. That is so wrong and this greediness ruins my hobby. I hope we get some competition on the market, adobe is such a s*itty company

You are posting in the Lightroom forum. It wouldn't make much sense to use Lightroom for a month and then not use it. It clearly says it's not a monthly plan, you just pay monthly for annual plan.

Well, first of all I don't want anyone else to tell me what makes sense or not in my situation. And I checked out that at least in my country's (not USA) Adobe website there's nothing that implies it would be a full years plan. Maybe if I would have bothered to read the whole user agreement I would have found that it is indeed a years plan so yes there the blame is on me.

Luckily the AI is bringing useful editing tools for the mobile phones also so in the future hopefully people are able to use the money more wisely
