Question

Why is there no way to prepare photos for print in Lightroom desktop?

I am wondering why Adobe has not been able to figure out how to prepare photos for print in Lightroom desktop? I don't use Lightroom classic as I use the cloud, I don't find it very effective to have to save my file to my desktop then have to open the dinasour of a program Lightroom Classic to soft proof and add borders to be able to print my images. I am not a big photoshop user also because I just haven't had the time to learn an even more complicated program to work with my images.

Maybe I am missing something here but if it is not going to get solved sooner rather that later, I think I will be bidding adu to Adobe and there programs.

Please help

I'm speechless, was NOT expecting to find a "it's not possible" when searching on how to print from Lightroom.  WUT?  Even if it's not a "common" thing these days to print a photo, it is still a pretty basic capability for a photo editing software platform...one would hope anyway.

It's not a matter of 'not been able to figure out how', it's a choice. People don't print at home as much as they used to do, so Adobe gave low priority to printing from Lightroom desktop. It simply wasn't added (yet?).
