    Hi @adventurous_observer3be7,

I understand the Lens Blur feature isn't working for you in Lightroom version 9.4.3. Here are some things to check and try:

    1. Update to Lightroom v9.5.1 and see if that resolves the issue.

    2. Lens Blur is an AI-powered feature that requires sufficient GPU and RAM:

    • Windows: DirectX 12 GPU with at least 2 GB VRAM (8 GB dedicated VRAM or 16 GB shared memory recommended for AI features like Lens Blur)
    • macOS: Metal-capable GPU; Apple silicon (M1 or later) with 16 GB unified memory recommended for AI features
    • iOS/Mobile: At least 4 GB of RAM on the device

You can check your GPU info in Lightroom by going to Help > System Info.

    3. If your system meets the requirements but Lens Blur still isn't working:

    • Go to Edit > Preferences > General (Windows) or Lightroom > Preferences > General (Mac)
    • Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor"
    • Quit and relaunch Lightroom
    • If the issue resolves, your GPU driver likely needs updating > install the latest driver from your GPU manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel), then re-enable the GPU setting

If the above steps don’t help, could you also provide the following to help us investigate further?

    • What exactly happens when you try to use Lens Blur (greyed out, stuck on "estimating depth," error message)
    • Copy & paste your system info here.
    • A small screen recording demonstrating the issue

Hope this helps! Let us know your system details, and we can narrow it down further.

    Best,
    Anshul Saini

    Version 9.4.3

I asked for a lot of information, you only provided one piece of information that I asked for.

Anyway, you have posted in the Lightroom Classic forum, even though your question is not about Lightroom Classic, it is about Lightroom. You want to post in the Lightroom (Ecosystem) forum, and when you do so, please provide ALL of the information I asked for.

Are you using Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)? What version NUMBER?

What is your operating system version NUBMER? What version NUMBER?

We need the version NUMBERs and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date".

What is the make and model of your GPU? What is the GPU driver number?
