Question

Will i lose my photos after canceling Lightroom (cloud based) plan?

Hello,

i'm planning to cancel my ligthroom plan (the cloud based one) and switch to lightroom + photoshop plan.

I was wondering if switching between this two plans will affect in any ways the photos i uploaded on the cloud.

Like will they be deleted or blocked somehow?

Can i access them after resubscribing to the new plan?

Thank you very much for the answer.

You should still have access, but it depends on how many photos you've got in the cloud right now. The Lightroom Classic + Photoshop plan comes with only 20GB cloud space, so if you use more cloud space right now, then it is wise to download these photos before you switch. The alternative would be to take this plan with 1GB cloud space, but that costs twice as much. BTW, don't simply cancel your current plan, switch plans. Adobe can help with that.

Thank you very much for the answer.

At the moment i'm paying both Lightroom and Photoshop separately, so i'm spending 12€ more than what i will spend with only the 1TB Ligthroom + Photoshop plan.

I tried to see if i could simply switch plans, but i can't find the one i want in the list available.

So i guess i'll backup all the photos exporting them in "Original + settings" and then i will proceed with the cancelation.

Thank you again for the answer, you've been very helpful.

Have a great day.
