(Windows) Lightroom Stuck on "Syncing items" forever - No error message

I have the same issue that other users.

Lightroom CC is stuck on "Syncing items" on the Windows 11 desktop.

I have about 30 000 pictures. It is supposed to download all my original files locally to my secondary drive (D:). There is plenty of free space on my target drive (D:).

iPad is fine, fully synced and backed-up.

I have uninstalled Lightroom CC then reinstalled and it didn’t solve the issue.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
