Working on the iris of the eye

Hey guys

 

i m working on a picture4 of an iris of the eye. i would likt eo cut in a circle out and put it on a black background.

can someone help me with that. i have the newest ligthroom version. maybe even someone can show it live to me.

You would normally use Photoshop for this. If you have Lightroom Classic, you also have photoshop buut if you just have Lightroom Desktop (the Cloud version), you probably don't have that. In that case what you do is use the radial mask tool. Add a new mask, select radial, draw the radial mask. Select invert and set exposure, highlights, shadows, whites and black on the mask all the way to the right so the outside becomes black. Play with the feather setting to make the transition sharp or fuzzy.
