Z9 files unable to be read in Lightroom (Cloud Based) on Surface Pro 11

Hi there,

 

I recently picked up a Microsoft Surface Pro, 11th Edition running Windows 11 Home 24H2 as an editing machine while travelling, on a whale watching boat etc. Love the device and screen but am having issues with being able to view/edit RAW files on the machine.

 

I'm using a Nikon Z9, shooting in compressed RAW. I have the latest versions of Lightroom (Cloud, as Classic isn't available in Creative Cloud, yet) and Camera RAW. When trying to load a file, I get a message saying the file is unsupported or damaged. Previews also don't show up.

 

I have no issues loading the same files on any machine running LrC, so the files themseles aren't damaged.

 

I've done some searching but can't seem to find anyone with the same issue, hoping I've just done something stupid with the fresh install on the new laptop. That, or LrC becomes available on Windows ARM64 soon!

If you're shooting in the Nikon High-Efficiency raw compression mode, this workflow is currently not supported on Windows ARM64 devices.

    Appreciate the response! Of course it was a simple thing that I didn't even think of. Have just changed my settings in camera and voila! Thanks again!
