Attach a weapon to animated soldier character

Hi,

I read some post here on this forum, but I am still being able to clearly understand how to attach a gun to the soldier characters on mixamo.

I am using a baked model from Cinema 4D. Where do I put the gun ? because I need the character to grip the gun realistically....

If I put in the hand...but how to make it grip ?
