Hello.

I have to create a 3D animation project for my university for a museum exhibition. I made all the models but I would like to use the mixamo animations to help me, because I don't know how to do it and I don't have any more time.

There is an entrance fee for the exhibition, but I am not paid, I receive no money from this project and neither does the university. and I give for free my animation and the models i made.

do I have the right to use mixamo animations for this project ? or is there a copyright issue ?

No there isn't a copyright but there could be a licence issue... When you say you give them let's be clear;

If what you hand over is Mixamo assets then that's not allowed i.e if they want textures, animations and models they must download them from Mixamo

As long as what you hand over isn't raw animation, textures or models then there isn't a licence issue... Your teacher should explain the difference between copyright and licence
