Joint assignment does not work on touch screen

Tested on iPhone 12 and iPad Pro. Auto rigger does not work on touch screens - there is a bug in the joint assignment page where touch interactions are not detected. Over 60% of internet use is now on mobile devices. This should not be broken.

Thanks for your insights. It's a 12.9 inch screen, it's bigger than some laptops, and many laptops primarily use touchscreen. Usability is no different to the dekstop version, just drag the joint nodes onto the right location using touch and drag. Again, mobile internet use is 60% of the internet, it's a larger group than desktop users. It would be great if someone from Adobe could comment on whether this is an exisiting ticket or when mobile compatibility is planned in the pipeline.

no the definition of a bug is when code results happen in unexpected ways

the webpage script is a opensource standard and a PC browser does recognise touch imputs... its a bit more than one line of code but if your device also recognised those standard codes then yes it would be simple

working out how to get a good user experence from such a small screen would be tricky but if you had some kind of bigger sscreen like a styless tablet then it would work but Adobe still wouldn't do it because it wouldn't be worth the effort for such a small number of users

It's kind of bug but more like the programmers not following the standard method how to handle the input, this day we can use "ondarg" event that works for most browsers this day and it simulate the same input like dragging on mouse input by double touch and drag or just long press until it get drag

its not a bug... your device is not good enough to run the script because Mixamo is designed for PC

😂 That is the definition of a bug! You can't have a website only work on PCs in 2023. Just recognise touch inputs, it's one line of code.
