Mixamo Login & Download Broken Due to Outdated Account URL

Hi Adobe Team and Mixamo users,

After doing some digging, I think I’ve found part of the reason why Mixamo is currently broken — and it’s a surprisingly simple but critical issue.

On Mixamo’s interface, when you click the “Account” button, it tries to send you to:

👉 https://accounts.adobe.com (with an “s”)

But Adobe’s actual user login system is now:

https://account.adobe.com (no “s”)

The plural version seems to be deprecated or non-functional — which could explain why:

  • Login tokens are failing

  • Uploads/downloads aren’t authorized

  • Session handshakes aren’t completing

In other words, Mixamo is referencing a login path that no longer exists.

It’s possible this URL hasn’t been updated since Adobe’s acquisition in 2015 — and now that certificates or API tokens have expired, this mislink has finally caused everything to break.

Mixamo still displays animations and previews (meaning the front end works), but every feature tied to user authentication appears broken.

💡 Can someone at Adobe please confirm this and check if Mixamo needs an update to its login/auth routing?

We’re a huge group of users who still rely on Mixamo — we don’t need a full overhaul, just a patch to restore basic functionality.

Thanks for reading

🚨 Mixamo stopped working on June 16, 2025exactly 10 years and 2 weeks after Adobe acquired it. Coincidence? Unlikely.

The frontend SSL cert was renewed, but core services like upload, download, and account access all broke on that day.

This strongly suggests that a backend authentication certificate, token, or identity integration expired — something likely issued back in 2015.

Mixamo still points to accounts.adobe.com, which no longer exists. Meanwhile, Adobe uses account.adobe.com. The mismatch, paired with a likely silent expiration, broke the entire platform.

Adobe, please fix this. Thousands of users still rely on this tool.

Thanks for troubleshooting the issue, I rely on Mixamo professionally and was going crazy. Adobe Support didn't even know they own Mixamo, shrugged their shoulders and refused to help.

Hopefully some admin or programmer sees this and can patch the website soon.

It looks very interesting, and promising in the current situation. But, you advertise it so actively that concerns creep in...

Can anyone inform the issue to Adobe?

They have been told about this for a long time and a lot, but so far there is silence.

This is what I wrote about last time. You write about it non-stop under all the messages, and the community page is not found at all... I have some doubts about the safety of using this service

I confirm this problem: a big user of MIXAMO, the only easy, professional and free site is blocking us, let's hope that the problem will be taken seriously quickly!

Hello everyone, as mixamo is down for last couple of days. We can use an alternative of mixamo called Rigonix3D
It also has around 300+ Free Animations.
Mixamo is great, but we should have an alternative till mixamo is back.

And follow Rigonix3D Communityso that we can discuss much about rigonix3d.
