Mixamo rig attaches knees and elbows strangely to small character

Hello,

 

I am rigging a child-size character with Mixamo, and it seems to be placing the elbows and knees very close to the shoulder and hips instead. so the animations look very strange. Is there a way to fix this?

Make sure your model is uploaded in the correct position / A or T.

Make sure you have enough polygonal subdivision for bone/joint tip/goal modification.

You should be able to rig it at any scale.

that it rendors those models at all is impressive but the error is in the models i.e, add some extra polies around the arms and legs instead of a square tube
