Hi.

I create a character in Fuse, choose an action in Mixamo, satisfied:

click DOWNLOAD.

Format: FBX, Frames: 24, with skin, Keyframe Reduction: none:

click DOWNLOAD.. smooth so far, but...

In about three minutes, Mixamo times out - every time.

Windows 10 PC, same non-results 24/7, Google Chrome, high speed cable working smooth.

Attached, please see timeout screenshot.

Your help is appreciated.

Edward

all Windows computers are 64 bit now days and have been for years mate... Apple Mac is just years behind the rest of the world when it comes to 3D which is of course why Adobe is also behind and wanted the Fuse staff but that has bugger all to do with your issue

My Windows 10 PC is a 64-bit. I’ll need to see if I can find a 32 bit computer. Right?

At this link, https://community.adobe.com/t5/fuse-beta/a-time-for-farewell-adobe-ends-development-on-fuse/td-p/10617817?page=1 ….

Update on April 29th:
Just a note that while Fuse is technically still available, it will not show up as available for download in Creative Cloud Desktop if you are on OSX Catalina (10.15.0 +).

This was one of the forcing functions behind the overall end of development for Fuse as it is a 32-bit application and OSX 10.15 requires all apps to update to 64-bit.  If you revert to 10.14.X it would be available for you.

Hi Edward

1st well done for finding this new forum

2nd I confirm the Mixamo server is working for me

  • I see you are a Chrome user but have not signed in... have you tested any other browsers?
  • can you please tell us your settings used when uploading from Fuse to Mixamo [see my image 2]?

apart from that I don't see any flags in your screenshot

Hi,

I think that I am having these issues because my Window10 PC is 64 bit.

I have 162 characters that I built in Fuse.

I have a copy of them but I still need them in action.

I will do my best to buy a 32 bit laptop by this weekend:

32 Bits

  • Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
  • 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended)
  • 5.5 GB of available hard-disk space for installation
  • OpenGL 2.2+ capable system
  • 1024 x 768 display (minimum resolution) with 16-bit color and 512 MB of VRAM (1 GB recommended)

I saw where you wrote the lines below: I am doing this for a movie and I have no interest at all in the conduct below.

I will get to download Fuse and Mixamo on another computer, if it's in the next few days, won't I?

Thank you,

Edward

There is a very long thread with many examples of the Fuse license.
You are allowed to use Fuse figures in your game or video – your creative projects.
You are not allowed to asset-flip: sell or give away game-ready figures made with Fuse content for others to use in their projects.
