Adobe CC Photoshop 26.1.0

Windows11

The only way for me to understand what's going on is if you send me the PSD file in a private message so I can open it on my end and check it.

Thank you, but it's okay now.

By deleting all the work content, the bug was resolved. This happened even before I posted this thread. The same bug does not necessarily occur every time I repeat the same actions. It was frustrating and stressful, but I’m okay now.

I just wanted to complain to Adobe. However, since there’s no closed reporting system, I posted it here. Thank you for being so understanding and supportive.

Hi Yuda,

You said, "The issue is that when applying effects to a PNG image and placing it into a folder, the entire layer of that folder turns completely white." --

First, PNG files do not support layers, you would need to save it as a .psd or .tiff file to keep the layer. Second, can you clarify what you mean by placing it into a folder? Are you adding a layer to your PNG file? Are you placing the PNG file in a folder? Folders do not have layers, and neither do PNG files. PSD files can have layers--is that what you are saying?

Please give us a little more information so we can help you.

Michelle

Bojan sama

Thank you for your reply.

It seems that the notation in Photoshop differs between the Japanese and English versions.

I apologize for causing any confusion.

In such cases, 「グループ2」 turns completely white.

You mean the content of group「グループ2」turns completely white in the final, saved version?

Could you please post some screenshots? The translated version of your request doesn't clarify what the problem is. You mention copying and pasting images, but where exactly is this happening? Understanding the context of the copy/paste will help us see how it relates to Photoshop.

Unfortunately, there are no screenshots available. This issue does not occur every time but happens intermittently. I did not take a screenshot the last time the issue occurred.

The issue is that when applying effects to a PNG image and placing it into a folder, the entire layer of that folder turns completely white.

I suspect some kind of memory management error.
