Just yesterday, "Open Recent" worked fine. It brings up a bank of files from over a month ago.

Also, I had posted this bug on April 29, 2025, and it wasn't posted.

Hi @rgbnites!

Could you go to File > Open Recent > Clear Recent File List? This will remove all entries from the list. Please test if that helps newer entries appear on the recent file list.

I would also recommend updating to the most recent version of Photoshop, 26.6. It might help resolve this issue.

Thank you!

Thank you, Aleke. I always update PSD (and Illustrator, etc.), and the interface gets more and more complicated with dysfunctions, which is the universal fear of upgrading an app on desktop and iPhone devices. The "Open Recent" failure is just one of the caveats of upgrading, besides wasting time searching for a fix. I thank the Algorithm Lord for replies like yours for reasonable solutions!
