16 GB of "VRAM" not enough for PS?

Old thread but did you find a solution?
I had a 24GB card before and never knew it was actually useful for Photoshop until I moved to one with 16GB and started having the same issues with RAW as you have when using masks etc and starts to lag and freeze.

On a SSD, local.

Where are your files stored when you are accessing them for Camera Raw? Local or ?

Any other suggestion? 🙂

Really strange that photoshop reports two cards, because my PC has only the 6800, I built it by myself. The processor is the 13700KF, without discrete graphics, and so the motherboard. I'm not an expert, but "gfx1030" is something about 6800 Architecture itself. I followed your link anyway, and gfx1030 is still there... 😉

@erreenne as supsected you have two graphics cards - your 6800 and an internal "discrete" gfx. Photoshop cannot use two GPUs simultaneously so it could cause a stall.
