2 Question - how to resize text in smart object & how to copy only font with effects?

hi, i followed this tutorial

I want this neon text and did all the steps, now when i click my smart object I have problems with:

1. this is my smart object (smart1)

2. when i click on the Font layer and want to change the text i only get this small box, i need to change the text to 6pt to read everything like ORIGINAL COOL NEW TEXT. how can i increase this box (smart2)

3. and when i switch off the background i see all the filter grid from the fitler gallery, i want to copy paste my neon colour font with grid effect to a new picture without the background 😞 (smart3)

I Mhave checked out the video now, and that is not an easy tutorial to follow.

Try this site below. It allows you to download PSD files that contain Smart Objects with the example text. Double click the Smart Object to open in a new window to edit. Save the edit and return to the original window. You can check the other groups the psd files contain to get an idea of how the effect was made.
