2 Smart objects buggs

Photoshop version 26.9.0

macOS Sequoia 15.6

Issue 1: Text is getting clipped (cut off) inside smart objects, even though e.g. color fill layers don't

Issue 2: "New smart object via copy" doesn't work - new SO remains linked with the original one

 

Neither of these issues happened to me before, appeared yesterday. For Issue 1 I found older forum threads on the internet, it's apparently not a new thing.

What happens if you add a stroked rectangle close to the SO’s edges?

Hi, ofc thank you 🙏🏻 just to illustrate - a smart object is created (consisting of a simple rectangle and text. Than “perspective warp” is applied - all good. But when I try to change the text (or even insert new text layer within the smart object) - the new text is cut of in the main composition, main file. And “creating new SO via copy” doesn't help. It happened to me a year ago, got resolved with next PS update. I am 90% sure it's related to iOS 27 update… (?)
