Question

2024-25 포토샵 이용시 램 사용량 증가가 되는 이유 아시는 분?

현재 M1PRO MAX 4TB 64GB 를 사용중입니다.


포토샵으로 RAW 파일 작업을 진행하면. 

갑작스럽게 램사용량이 140 - 170기가 까지 치솟아서 포토샵 모든 기능이 모두 멈춰버립니다.

결국엔 강제종료를 해야하고. 작업한 파일들은. 다 날라갑니다.

이로인해서 현재 작업하고 날린 사진들만 5천장이 넘어가고 있습니다.

이전 버전까지는 저런 큰 문제는 없었으나, 어느 버젼부터인지 정확히 모르겠으나.

저렇게 램 사용량이 증가해버리는 바람에 앞으로 작업을 다른방식 혹은 다른 프로그램으로 해야할지 고민이 많이 됩니다.

혹시 방법 아시는 분 있나요? 

참고로 performance 에서 램 사용량은 70% 로 해둔 상태입니다.

Hey, @Lee34295754anpg. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

 

Before troubleshooting, ensure you have the latest version of Camera Raw and Photoshop installed from the Creative Cloud desktop app.

 

Does the issue appear when you work on RAW images processed through the Camera Raw? Here is a similar conversation: https://adobe.ly/4jC7W7N

Thanks for sharing the system info. Have you tried using Photoshop (beta)? You can go to Creative Cloud > Apps section > Beta Apps tab.  

Try this in Camera Raw:

1 - In the Presets Panel > ... click the three dot menu > disable Preview AI Settings on Rollover. 

 

 

You're working on Apple Silicon and have about 120GB of free scratch space. Working on 140-170 RAW files at once can require a hefty amount of free scratch space and the macOS won't allow Photoshop to occupy all available storage by design and may off-load to RAM, too.
