27.9.0: Creating simple black and white patterns(printing test patterns) in greyscale and converting to bitmap. If the first column is black the whole image goes black. to bitmap
I’m trying to create simple black-and white stripe patterns for printing tests. I’ll often start with the single-column marquee tool and use the paint bucket to fill the column. When complete, I normally convert using 50% threshold. This has worked for many years.
Now, it seems that if the first column is black when I do the conversion, the whole image goes black. If the first column is not black the conversion is normal.

Same thing using 50% threshold or diffusion dither.
