3D - problem with "Swap Main and Secondary View"

Hi,I’d like to ask a question regarding Photoshop's 3D features:- When I have an EXR file open and click the 3-axis icon, a small window appears in the top-left corner of the monitor. However, when I change the view there—to "Top," for example—and click the "swap main and secondary view" icon, the main window displays only a checkerboard pattern (or pixelation) instead of the image corresponding to the view I selected.Could someone please tell me what I might be doing wrong? Many thanks.

It is a while since I used 3D in Photoshop, but I just opened Photoshop 2021 (v22.2) to test and couldn’t replicate the issue using a depth map. View swapping worked correctly.
What version of Photoshop are you using?
Can you go to Photoshop’s help >System info and press copy - then paste the info here?
Can you share the file for testing (or another simple file that shows the issue)?
