Question

About Neural filters, everytime I click a filter in Style Transfer , Photoshop will download it

Photoshop CC  2024 v25

Windows 11
Everytime I click a filter in Style Transfer's panel, Photoshop will download it.
The thing is that filter's data is already in AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\PluginsStorage\PHSP\25\Internal\com.adobe.nfp.gallery\PluginData.
What's even more strange is that if I closed Neural filters panel and reopen it, Photoshop will download any filter I click again in Style Transfer.
Is this normal? Thx

Hey @cqnvxf,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with Style Transfer. Could you give me some more details about the problem? For example, what operating system are you using? Does this issue occur with every preset or just specific ones? Also, how often do you have to re-download the presets—is it every time you open the panel, even in the same session, or only when you restart the computer?

Thanks a lot!

Alek

@Aleke

Thanks for asking.

Currently, the problem is with Adobe Photoshop 26.1 on macOS 14.7.1 Sonoma. I first noticed it on Adobe Photoshop 24.1.0 on macOS 12.6.2 Monterey.

I see the problem on all Style Transfer presets except the first 3, in the top row.

There's no problem as long as Photoshop keeps running, even if I close the Neural Filters panel and re-open it. The problem occurs if I quit Photoshop and then re-launch Photoshop.

Hi @adia32412205jguy sounds like a folder permissions issue. What happens if you got to the Photoshop.exe file, shift+right-click and "run as administrator" does it continue to download?

Thank you for your reply .

Yes, It continued.

[It  needs admin-right to download filters in Neural Filters in the first place if I remember correctly?]

And I had changed the rights  for all of the directories in com.adobe.nfp.galleryalready.

I will try change more folders to admin-right , maybe reinstall all Neural filters .
