Access Recent Brushes Through Scripting

Is there a way to access recent brushes through scripting? Would love to be able to cycle through recent brushes with a hotkey, and toggle between two last used.

Do you know you can access recent brushes by right clicking?  You can select any of the previous seven presets.

I like to have all of the options enabled so I can see what to expect, and more importantly, if a preset will select a different tool.  (You can force it to retain the current tool by Ctrl/Cmd selecting the preset.  Perhaps the most important option is the search bar - there are >700 presets in the Kyle Mega Pack!

I have recent brushes panel enabled and I make use of the search bar frequently, thanks. I'm hoping for a way to do this with hotkeys though and for that I need a script or an action.
