So about 2 hours ago i accidently clicked don't save in my adobe photoshop 2025 project. I want to recover it but I have tried all ways and none of them work.

Is there any way to recover the 'Don't Save' file?

there must be a way because when i created a new project it should automatically save for me right theres no way it doesnt.

can anybody help me please this is very important to me

@happy_Marshmallow0494 there's no way to recover unsaved changes and Photoshop doesn't have an automatic save option, it has an auto save recovery option, but that only works in case of a system crash

That just toasts your marshmallow to a burnt cinder! I've done it, explored recovery, cried to sleep.

Lesson learned -- never count on timed-save -- it isn't really -- make a point to save intentionally.

The ability to recover is inversely proportional to the importance of the item.

If you close the file without saving, it's gone.

Photoshop has automatic crash recovery, but that is not auto save. Autorecovery files are deleted in normal shutdowns, and when closing the file, to avoid eating up disk space.
