ACR Filter Crashing

I am in update hell between adobe and windows.

I am fully updated everywhere, all hardware is new and functioning perfectly elsewhere.

It is just doing the same filtering layer I've done in my workflow for years. 

No AI is involved, ACR just stops responding after a few gradient masks. 

I have spent more time trouble shooting adobe issues in the last six months than I have actually using the products.

Do they not realize professionals use their software and need reliability?
