Actions not working

Hi guys, I just need a little help. I have photoshop 2025 and I do portrait photography. I use actions to do most of my works. When I play my retouching actions doesnt apply the retouching effect on my image. please is there any solution to this for me. i have uninstall and reinstalled photoshop several times but isnt solving the problem. Please if someone can help me out here. thanks in advance.

@emmanuel_owusu-banahe8101 sometimes I tell my students of the action stops working for some weird reasons, it's easier to create a new action versus trying to figure out the why. If the effect is not working, it might be the effect is no longer available on Photoshop 2025. I would re-do the action manually, and see of that solves the issues.

I agree with @CMass – It would help to see a screenshot of the Photoshop workspace open, with the image title bar visible, with the layers panel visible and with the Action panel visible and wide enough to view all content in list mode (not button mode) with any error message visible at the point where the action fails.

Could you share a bit more about the issues you're experiencing with Actions in Photoshop? Are these actions ones you've created or purchased? Additionally, could you provide a screenshot of your workspace with the Actions panel open and some context on what you're trying to achieve with the action?
