I purchased Photoshop 5 19 years ago. I upgraded to Photoshop 7, and then again to CS 3,and then again to Cs 5. I have the serial numbers from CS 3 in 2008 and CS 5 in 2011.I downloaded CS 5 this week, plugged in the serial number from my CS 5 upgrade and was unable to activate CS 5. I no longer have the serial number from my original purchase 19 years ago. All I did was purchase a new computer... am I stuck?

After installing CS5 and entering your CS5 upgrade serial number, you should be asked to enter the serial number from an earlier qualifying version.

You then enter your CS3 upgrade serial number and CS5 should activate. You should not need any earlier serial numbers.

I entered my CS5 Ser #, then my CS3 ser # and received the same message: Ser # valid but no qualified product found on this computer. Do I have to download CS 3 instead of 5?
