Hi All, I am trying to add watermark for about 2000+ Images I created an action for landscape image but when a run the action for all the other images, some photos which are portrait is getting resized to landcape with white background to fill in the image, also even for some lanscape images which arelittle bit smaller than the one which I created the action from is also getting resized. I believe there should be a way to tackle this....but I dont know that...can someone please give a solution for this.

I remember Julianne Kost did a video on this a long time ago, and said setting the rulers to Percent would place the watermark in the relative same location with different sized images.

Blimey!  I think this is it. (I wasn't going to watch all 16 minutes to check)

Do all of the images have the same resolution PPI as the watermark?

Also, why the canvas crop? Take note of the recorded crop values which are absolute.

Please provide the atn-file or post a screenshot of the fully expanded Action in the Actions Panel.

It sounds like you included Image > Canvas Size at some point.

It should be possible to create one Action for landscape, one for portrait and then use an Conditional Action to run one or the other.

I suspect the placing and cropping may be the issue then.

What are the dimensions of the image/watermark you place?

But I had underlined »fully expanded« for a reason, so again:

Please post a screenshot of the fully expanded Action in the Actions Panel.
