Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader

I have a Macbook pro, Sonona 14.2.. I have been using Adobe Bridge photo downloader successfully via a sandisc cf express card reader, now i cannot get it to read the photos that are on the card, witch i can see when manually opening the reader via the desk top... PPs this is a brand new card reader...

I tried refresh, with no sucsess on the down loader...

Ps - it will (Photo Downloader) pick up my photos from a SD card from the same camera different card reader... i also un-installed bridge & re installed Bridge as well.. still no go...

Can anyone recogmend anything???
