When we look at impressive generative AI tools like Flux, Midjourney, ChatGPT, and Imagen 4, it's clear that the industry is moving forward at an incredible pace. Yet, when I turn to Adobe Firefly and the Generative Fill feature within Photoshop, the stark contrast is undeniable.

The quality of generations is consistently subpar, and the AI frequently fails to accurately interpret user intent. This leads to frustrating and often unusable results, despite the significant monthly subscription fees we pay. We invest in Adobe expecting cutting-edge tools that empower our creativity, not features that feel underdeveloped and behind the curve.

We pay a premium for the Adobe ecosystem, and it's time for Generative Fill to meet the high standards we expect. We urge Adobe to prioritize significant improvements to this technology, bringing its performance in line with the remarkable AI capabilities available elsewhere.
